At Singing River Financial, our mission is to keep you informed and prepared—especially when it comes to changes that can affect your health coverage and daily routine.
📣 What’s Happening?
UnitedHealthcare (UHC) has announced a formulary change affecting members who use OneTouch blood glucose meters and test strips. Beginning August 3rd, OneTouch test strips will no longer be covered under UHC plans.
📬 Have You Received a Letter?
If you or a loved one currently uses OneTouch meters or strips, you may have received a letter from UHC notifying you of this change. This communication confirms that OneTouch products will be removed from the formulary as of August 3,2025.
✅ What You Need to Do:
To avoid any interruption in your glucose testing supplies, we recommend taking the following steps now:
Contact Your Doctor: Request a new prescription for a UHC-covered alternative test strip brand.
Place Your Order Early: Have your new prescription on file so your new test strips are ready once the change goes into effect on August 3rd.
Ask Us for Help: If you’re unsure which test strips are now covered or need help updating your prescription, we’re happy to assist.
